Transfer from your Tel-Aviv hotel to Ben-Gurion/Sde Dov airport for a domestic flight to Eilat.
Enjoy a Jeep Tour and discover Eilat's Mountains. Drive via Wadi Solomon, Wadi Rehav'am & Wadi Yeoshafat (wadi = dry river bed). Ascend “Darb el Hadge”, the ancient Muslim road to Mecca. Stop for a short observation over Ein Netafim's, one of the few fresh water sources in the nature reserve. Proceed by the old "Patrol Road" ascent to 725m above sea level up to the peak of Mt. Yoash's observation point, offering a spectacular view of the Gulf of Eilat and the 4 countries: Egypt (Sinai), Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Israel.
Lunch on route
In the afternoon, visit of Timna Park. The picturesque Timna Valley (park) is a UNESCO site of historical importance. It’s copper mines are amongst the earliest in the world and date back 6,000 years. Sites within the Timna Valley (park) include Soloman’s Pillars, the Egyptian Temple, the Mushroom and ancient rock inscriptions. We see the dramatic scenery and fascinating sites while learning about the remarkable people who survived these stark conditions to produce copper for the Egyptian elite.
