Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception will be held at the Dan Eilat Hotel, on Monday, 4 May 09 and is included in the registration fees of delegates and accompanying persons.

Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday, 6 may 09 and is included in the registration fees of delegates (excluding students and daily) and accompanying persons.

The event will take place outdoors in a venue that is one of a kind; in the heart of the desert…at the base of the magnificent King Solomon’s Pillars of Timna Park - home to the world’s most ancient copper mines. King Solomon’s Pillars were formed by centuries of water erosion on the tall, straight rock face. The red sandstone cliffs were sculpted into pillar-shaped ridges that jut outwards.

Witness how the splendid backdrop of the landscape that surrounds Timna Park, combines with the special illumination of the venue, to create a unique atmosphere throughout the course of the evening.

The FIG Foundation Dinner will be held on Thursday, 7 May 09 and is charged separately at 85 USD per person.
