Getting there by public transport is very convenient and easy, using a variety of means of transportation:
Train - "Merkaz Hashmona" station - near the campus.
Bus - On "Ha'atzmaut" Street, there are bus stops where a variety of "Egged" lines stop. Matronit Haifa - travels along Ha'atzmaut Street, which is parallel to "Hanemal" Street, very often, and connects most of the city's areas.
Carmelit - Carmelit has 6 stations: Gan-Ham, Bnei Zion, Masada, Haneviim, Solel-Boneh and Paris-Paris.
Parking - It is recommended to use navigation apps like WAZE. There are a number of private and public car parks in the area for a fee, however, in order to save time and parking costs, we recommend arriving by convenient public transportation as detailed above.
23-24.2.2022 - Medicine Faculty, Technion
The Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, 1 Efron ST, Haifa.
Parking - There is a parking shortage in the faculty area and we recommend using the convenient public transportation.
Train - The most convenient option. the nearest station is "Bat-Galim" - 5 min walk from the faculty.
LANGUAGE
The official language of the Conference is English.
Israel’s official languages are Hebrew and Arabic. Most Israelis speak English, and most of the signposts are in English as well.
EXHIBITION
A commercial and professional exhibition will be take place during the conference, parallel to the Conference hours.
CLIMATE
The average temperature in February in Haifa (Minimum to Maximum): 18-24 C° / 60-71 F°.
Dress will be informal throughout the Conference.
In addition, modest dress appropriate for visits to religious sites is recommended.
CURRENCY
The unit of currency in Israel is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS) commonly known as the Shekel.
Approximate currency rates as follows (August 2021):
US $ 1 = NIS 3.25 and Euro € 1 = NIS 3.80
There are no restrictions on transfer and use of foreign currencies in Israel.
Most international credit cards are accepted.

Electricity in Israel is supplied at 220V, 50Hz and has a three-pin connecting plug.
