Marialena Mouzaki, MD MSc PNS DABOM

Dr. Mouzaki is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She is the Clinical Director of Advanced Nutrition Services at CCHMC and a Professor at the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Mouzaki received her MD from the National and Kapodistrian Medical School of Athens, Greece and then completed her Residency Training in General Pediatrics at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She completed her Fellowship Training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Hospital for Sick Children and obtained a Masters in Science from the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto. She is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology, in nutrition and in obesity medicine.

Her research focuses on metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD, previously called NAFLD).

ד"ר מרים ספראי היא רופאה מומחית ברפואת נשים ומתמחה בתחום שימור הפוריות.

את לימודיה האקדמיים החלה בתואר ראשון בביולוגיה, ולאחר מכן השלימה לימודי רפואה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. במהלך ההתמחות ברפואת נשים בהדסה, קידמה והובילה את תחום שימור הפוריות עבור בנים צעירים בכל אזור ירושלים. לאחר ההתמחות, הצטרפה למרכז לשימור פוריות בבית החולים שיבא, ובהמשך השלימה פוסט-דוקטורט במכון Magee במרכז הרפואי של אוניברסיטת פיטסבורג שבארצות הברית, במעבדה מובילה בתחום שימור הפוריות.

ד"ר ספראי חזרה לתל השומר, שם היא עובדת ביחידת ה-IVF ומתמחה בשימור פוריות רפואי - Oncofertility.

בשנים האחרונות ד"ר ספראי פרסמה מספר מאמרים בתחום הבינה המלכותית ושימושיה בעולם הרפואה.

Salvatore Oliva, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Maternal and Child Health Department of Sapienza University of Rome, and a consultant pediatric gastroenterologist at Umberto I University Hospital in Rome. His clinical and research efforts have been centered primarily on pediatric gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastrointestinal endoscopy, and eosinophil-associated gastrointestinal disorders. He has extensively studied the disease mechanism of pediatric IBD with translational research, including genetic, immunological, and gut microbiota interactions, and he is a leading researcher in the field of pan-enteric capsule endoscopy in Crohn’s disease.

A member of the European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, Prof. Oliva is involved in the work of its Endoscopy Working Group, Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders Working Group, and IBD Interest Group, as well as in coordinating the European Pediatric Registry of Eosinophilic Esophagitis and the Pediatric Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders Biobank on behalf of ESPGHAN. He also serves as Pediatric Officer on the Steering Committee of the European Society for Eosinophilic Oesophagitis. He is the author or co-author of more than 20 book chapters and 120 peer-reviewed articles and has received a Consortium of Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Researchers Training Award.
