Orna Hozman Bechor currently serves as the Director General of the Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources, and the Director General of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation. In her current capacity, Ms. Hozman-Bechor serves as Senior Member in the Committee for the Reform of the Electric Utility Market in Israel. She also leads the regularization process of the natural gas market, both in Israel and the export of natural gas to various global markets. In this regard, Ms. Hozman-Bechor is also a Senior Member of the Committee for the Review of the Policy with Respect to Royalties on Natural Resources. Previously, from 2009 to 2013, Ms. Hozman-Bechor served as the Director General of the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and Galilee as well as the Director General of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation, during this period, she established the medical school in Safed.
