Al Costa is Chief Executive Officer of Alkol. An entrepreneur by heart, he sold his first company to a NASDAQ-listed one and has over 20 years experience in business development in several countries. Mr. Costa has written extensively and has been a keynote speaker about the ethanol industry in several venues in Lisbon, Berlin, USA, Abu Dhabi, etc. He's the author of 3 books, the last in which he studies the brazilian ethanol model and how it can help Spain (where he lives and is a citizen) to also attain its fuel independence. Mr. Costa holds a BA in Biology from Saint Leo University and a Master in Computer Engineering from University of South Florida. He was interviewed for Time Magazine, MSNBC, etc.
