EMC Demonstrations: Experiments and Computer Simulations

It is well known that "seeing is believing". That is the main objective of the EMC demonstrations, which will take place throughout the Symposium.

EMC demonstrations will form an important and from past years experience - no doubt – also a popular part of the Symposium technical program. The demonstrations help to raise awareness of engineers to the importance of implementing good EMC design & measurement practices and provide keen insights into electromagnetic phenomena and effects. They also allow you to experience "what ifs" in cases of bad design practices, with "no damage done".

In this Symposium, we would like to have some old and some new demonstrations, presenting different interactive demonstrations each day with an objective of demonstrating EMC concepts, effects and measurement methods.

The demonstrations will include EMC Experiments’ Demonstrations, which demonstrate basic principles of EMC, and EMC Computer Modeling and Simulations Demonstrations, in which various CEM modeling techniques will be demonstrated each day, intended to present the capabilities, applications and characteristics of various computer simulation techniques in solving EMC problems.

If you would like to know further about those activities or if you have ideas for a demonstration and want to have it considered, please follow the following hyperlinks to the respective pages:
